Are you an exception!!!
When you change places..
For example change residence ,
go to study to a different place
for a short period of 3 months or 6 months or even more
You leave behind your friends and your family...
I am sure your family will always miss you and you will have the same place in the house.
( except maybe not have a room of your own )
But what about you friends?
Do your old friends move on??
Are you erased from your old world??
Can you go back and have everything exactly the way it was??
Would you fit back in???
You come to this new place.
You meet new people.
Make new friends eventually.
But are you one of them ?
Do you have a place in there lives?
Do you fit in ?
When they are not around you are alone.
Are they alone too?
Are they ever alone?
And when you leave to go back
Will your absense be felt?
Or will they just go back to their lives?
(not that we dotn want them to!)
Its funny how when you change places.. bits of you are erased from your last home.
But you never actually wholly become part of this new world.
Maybe there are exceptions.
Maybe it depends on you(what kind of person you are).
Maybe it depends on the kind of people you make friends with.
Maybe its possible that you fit in and are missed?
Maybe YOU are an Exception!!!!

sharing your situation, I seem to ask very similar things to myself every now and then, and the answers are always a little different each time I try to get the whole picture...

Yes, they have to, or they will die of depression (remember me in my first semester?).Plus its you all alone, they still have the rest of the group...

you are'nt, but you are smudged enough that your absence doesnt hurts. whether you can come back to the old ways depends on you, the friends, and well, some factors simply out of human circle of knowledge.

not exactly. No way.

You are one of none. You are unique. I can say this for you more than anybody else I've known

As two pieces of wood floating on the ocean come together at one time and are again separated, even such is the union of creatures in this world.
Ruchi you will always have a place in my heart, although we are sooo far away i will never forget the good times!!!
Just to warn you a bit, people change while we are gone for a while, and there really isnt much we can do about it.
The only thing we can do is move along with them and just accept what has happened while being away.
I am telling you from experience you really cant be stuck in a moment because it will just kill you and make you depressed, we have to move on and live our lifes wherever we are.
Everything works out for the best in the end, or atleast that is what i am hoping.
You dont know how i wished i were still overthere with all of you but i cant live my life on that, i have to move on, but all of you, especially you ruchi, will have a special place in my heart, and i will never forget our crazy adventures.
Just go home and enjoy the time you have with all your family and friends, be ready for encountering change in everyone, at first it may seem its all the same, but deep down everything is different.
Dont be scared about fitting in, its all in the mind, just enjoy yourself and have tons of fun.
Treasure the time you have with the special people in your life!!
